Terms of use

By using govbrm.com, the AI Demand Toolkit, or subscribing to the GOVBRM Newsletter, you accept these terms. GOVBRM is a personal project run by one person as a sole trader, not a registered company. The newsletter, the toolkit and the Value Orchestration Workbook are free; the Academy's micro-courses are free during the beta with a newsletter subscription and are usually £25 each; the full AI Demand Framework will be a paid product when it is published, and the Academy's live practitioner programmes are paid.

What this is, and is not

GOVBRM (the newsletter, this website, the AI Demand Toolkit and the AI Demand Framework once published) is provided for general information and professional development. It is not legal, regulatory, financial or other professional advice, and nothing here creates an advisory or client relationship. Decisions you make using it are your own responsibility, and you should seek qualified advice specific to your situation before acting on anything significant.

Content is written from professional experience and public sources, checked as carefully as a personal project allows, but provided without any warranty as to accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. Frameworks and canvases are generic by design and are meant to be adapted to your own organisation's governance, not applied unchanged.

Using the AI Demand Toolkit

You may use, print, adapt and share the toolkit's canvases and the Value Orchestration Workbook for your own work or your organisation's internal use, including training, free of charge. You may quote short passages from the newsletter or this site elsewhere, with attribution and a link back to govbrm.com or the original edition. Please do not republish full articles, or repackage and resell the toolkit or its canvases as your own product. The free course is for your own learning; its access code is issued to subscribers and is not for republishing.

GOVBRM Academy, certificates and credentials

GOVBRM Academy is the training and credentialing part of GOVBRM. Its credentials, from the free foundation certificates to the practitioner and capstone credentials, are continuing professional development credentials issued by the Academy. They are not academic qualifications, they are not accredited by any third party, and they must not be presented as either. A foundation certificate is generated on your own device after you pass a knowledge check, in your own name; generating one in a name that is not yours, or altering a certificate, is a misuse of the site. Practitioner and capstone credentials are issued after a live programme under the assessment standards published on the certifications page, and may be withdrawn, with the public registry updated, if obtained or used dishonestly. Terms specific to a live cohort, including fees, booking, cancellation and the platform used, are set out when that cohort is announced and apply alongside these.

Availability

This is a personal project, maintained outside full-time work, with no service-level commitment. Pages, features or the toolkit itself may change, move or be withdrawn at any time without notice. Paid access to the framework, when offered, is sold and handled through Substack and its payment processor, Stripe, under their terms, which apply alongside these. What you buy is personal access to the published framework for the period paid for, not a licence to copy or redistribute it.

Other people's platforms

The newsletter is delivered through Substack and this site links out to Substack, LinkedIn, GitHub and other third-party sites from time to time. Those platforms have their own terms and privacy policies, which are not controlled by GOVBRM and which you should read separately.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, GOVBRM accepts no liability for loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site, the toolkit or the newsletter, including for content on any linked third-party site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, such as for fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
